banned for not understanding the need for alphanumeric wording

It was developed during the early days of radio communication as some letters often sounded the same. Like 'M' and 'N'. Alphanumerics was developed to allow ones to communicate codes, like plane numbers, without misunderstanding.

Yes I know that, Ryat. But now has become practically useless, as voice communication has imporoved quite a lot over the past years.
