You were talking about Simpsons, which usually portrays liberalism as better than conservatism.

I was saying that Family Guy / American Dad portrays liberalism as absolute good and conservatives as baby-groping, child-sacrificing, virgin-defiling, unholy, vampiric, demonic, spawns of Satan. So it's more extreme.

Family Guy has a lot of social commentary, but his style does make it seem random and haphazard. Brian is the best character to watch for Seth's personal feelings.

I have no problem with people laughing at the extreme of either end, but that's cause I'm a moderate. Extremes are stupid.

Totally agree with you, in Australia, the leftest greens in charge of one of the city councils in Sydney proposed boycotting Israeli products, this issue became hilarious as they'd be boycotting the stuff within their council limits, which is to say a few suburbs and I doubt there's much Israeli exports in Australia let alone in a few inner western suburbs of metropolitan Sydney. I had a friend who described the extremes as having a few interesting ideas but not much in common with reality to govern. Sorry for the wall of text, new iPhone same issues. Banned because I have been having to mess with the priority settings on my emulator in order to get pokemon trade links to work. Cable trading only works when both emulators are running at above-average priority (which makes sense) but wireless trading only works when both are set at below normal priority (which doesn't).
