You're Banned!: The Forum Game
Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned for not responding to my post.
banned for no one here cares about royalty
@danielost - the blood is still blue not green. That was Draakjacht's point.
banned for not reading further into the story.
it turns out that blood color is dependent on what kind of metal, and since copper turns blue-green. the blood can be blue or green depending on other facters.
Banned because the point is blue blood is usually copper-based.
And I thought the royal wedding and the Bin Laden stuff were both over-publicized.
banned for not knowing about america's blue bloods, they live in the virgina mountains
Banned because I'm asking why so many Americans do.
Banned for the truth.
Again, banned for the truth. Sure, it's nice that two people are getting married, but it still is only that, a marriage. Not like a coronation or something. And as for Mr Bin Laden, the "War against Terror" sure isn't over because the face of Al-Quaeda got killed. Draws attention to how much of a failed state (and therefore a breeding ground for groups like Al-Quaeda) Pakistan is rapidly becoming though.
banned for pointing out the truth
banned for supporting the truth. What kind of government do you support? ![]()
And everywhere it said copper, it said blue. Green came up with Vanadium. We weren't talking about Vanadium. You said:
I have yet to read that. I just thought it's funny because in Star Trek, they say:
"Vulcan blood was copper-based and was copper- or rust-colored when deoxygenated in the veins and green when oxygenated in the arteries (although it is unclear if this transport mechanism was a hemocyanin as in Earth molluscs)." Memory Alpha
So unless they have a different chemical make-up to their blood than what has been seen on Earth, the idea is scientifically flawed. That's all.
Banned because there can be copper-based green blood, just not always.
banned for the examples he gave me required other metals to achieve green. I'm not worried about theoretically, but actuality.
banned for not liking the theoretical
banned for not telling him it isnt thoery
Another naturally-occurring blood pigment, vanadium chromagen, is found in sea squirts, ascidians, and tunicates. Contained within tiny corpuscles known as vanadocytes, it usually makes blood apple-green, though this may change to blue or orange in the presence of different vanadium oxides. http://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedi…
Vanabins (also known as vanadium-associated proteins or vanadium chromagen) are a specific group of vanadium-binding metalloproteins. Vanabins are found almost exclusively in the blood cells, or vanadocytes of some ascidians and tunicates (sea squirts). The vanbins extracted from tunicate vanadocytes are often called hemovanadins. German chemist Martin Henze discovered vanadium in ascidiaceans in
