Don't really know the words for it

My problem is this. MY cousin and I are playing sins on a lan with the same cd-key. No matter who hosts the game or what rules are set, the game, for lack of better words, loses sync with each other. Its like our games disconnect and we each start playng our own games alone but we can still chat in real time and any bounty we set on each other stays current. Both our clients are fully up to date, no mods have been applied to either client and we play with our antiviruses and User account control off. We have a gaming router that works fine on any number of other games.

I Think thats all that's needed. Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

yes im glad someone else is having this problem. its happened twice so far to me and my friends. always near the end of the game. sometimes after a disconnect. i cant tell exactly when it happens, we only figure it out when one guy goes like "haha i just killed ur entire fleet" and im sitting here starring a my fleet sitting idle or something.

 

if host quits or w/e it d/cs everyone but sync is completely wrong

 

this is becoming a problem for us BIG TIME. any help would be greatly appreciated

 

normally people in the game are anywhere from 4-8 but normally its me, my brother, and 2 friends who arent at the same house as me(we do direct connect games). im currently behind a router with ports and everything forwarded correctly. and as the guy above me said, its worked with multiple other games fine.

What version of SINS you guys running? Are you both fully patched to the latest versions?
