[IDEA] Fixing (Multi) star random to be viable in mp teams

So what we need is two types of Multi star...

Multi FFA - In this , nothing changes.

Multi Team - This is something special...

For Large Random Multi Team

5 Stars , Each team starts in a very small system . Each player will get something like 1 extra asteroid + 1 extra planet at this system . There will be 3 stars for contention in the middle . 1 Star will be mostly neutrals and will be in the center. 2 stars will be staggered and have about 6-8 planets in them. Infact this is basically similar to Aerolian Sector except that planets are randomised.

For Hugh Random Multi Team

5 Stars again. However this time , the starting systems will just accomadate the extra player. There will be 8-10 planets on the 2 middle stars. The star with the neutrals will probably be the same.

Thats a good idea but idk if it will happen. Besides the games may get too long for multiplayer to be viable with larger maps like your talking about.

"Dude i have to go pee!":pout:

"Hold it.":typo:

"BUT I REALLY NEED TO GO!" :'(

"I'm not able to baby sit your fleets!" :(O

"This game has been like 4 hours long...I... NEED... TO GO! X|

"NO!">:(

"I CANT HOLD IT ANY LONGER!"XO (Pauses) XD OH YEAH! THATS A WHOLE LOT BETTER!

"Dude..."8|

It's too bad that custom maps aren't viable for online multiplayer.  (Need custom map auto-download.)  If they were then we'd already have a bunch of other maps to play and P5yy could just design a map like he described himself.

Custom map auto distribution is the way to go -- it will empower the community.

I still maintain that IF the Sins engine cannot do it, Impulse should be the way to do it - as add on map packs....

That's what blizzard did with user created content (in reference to maps). They had map creation contests, ect ect. Then allowed them as downloads to the public.
