Unable to connect to Lan Game

Hi I am hopping you can help me.

I have been trying to host and join (separate computers) a LAN game in Entrenchment 1.02.

I can host it with no problem, the other computer can see the game, when it tries to join it freezes for a few seconds and pops up with a message saying you have been disconnected from the server.

Any help would be apreciated.

Make sure you have your ports open and you are all on the same version....

Both versions are the same 1.02 Entrenchment.

 

I did not thing that ports would have an effect since both PC's are on the same network, will have to look into it though.

It does still need to be done if you've got any software firewalls that are not already set to entirely except local traffic from filtering.

Sorry - I should have mentioned software firewalls explicitly. I was just being generic (and lazy) :D
