No Mods show up , followed all instructions to the letter.. no joy :(

make sure you use the right entrenchment path, from what i seen so far every new version uses a new folder for some reason (unless this was changed in the last patch). also, did you install the mod corectly?

i had to make the folder myself , inside the Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire was nothing , ive also download the 7 deadly sins mod and put the in another folder \Mods-v1.16 although the readme says its compataible with v1.15 just whats to see it mods worked in the orginal version.

so inside the Mods-Entrenchment v1.02 i have the mods in there own folders ?

well essentialy just asking if you had all parts of the mod in a single folder. not 100% what would cause it not to show up at all. you just try creating a blank folder in your mod folder and see if it showed up (if memory serves corectly it should read anyn folders in there, although you might have to put GameInfo or something along those lines for it to be read.

ok tried making a blank folder still no go , thx for the help though. anyone else got any ideas ? if pos could someone post the path line they are using , im begin to think the path the game is telling me to use is wrong.

damodamo have you tried my sins map updater?

it shows the current sins folders when you click on the local apps galaxies and the progfiles galaxies button. the program might help to locate the correct folderto extract the mods folders to.

  well i ran the program and now nothing shows ups , i went to play a new game and theres no maps there at all. i made a new map and saved it... that was there.

 so what gives ? ive have to uninstall wiped everything and re-download again ?

  my m8 says its the digital version of the game , which way im having problems for ?

my program is to show & fix galaxy files to version 3 but it also shows the folders which was why I suggested it.

also everybody with entrenchment and any sins after 1.05 has a digital version as it is the ONLY way to get them is by impulse download.

you have been extracting the contents of the archive to the Mods-Entrenchment v1.02 folder?

for archive managers I suggest either winrar or 7zip as they can work with almost all archive files, ie zip,rar,7z etc

  well thx for advice , but sadly it seems everythings gone tits up. i uninstalled it deleted all folders. then downloaded/re-installed and went to play without any mods and all maps have gone. bar one i made myself ? , this is way over my head.

 before i totaly give up anyone got any ideas to whats going on ? and how to fix ?

was the map you had made in the program files galaxy(old location & works ins sins1.16)or the map designer or the galaxyforge (which work in both sins 1.16 and entrenchment 1.02) folder?

right , ived formatted and reinstalled windows.. updated everything then installed impluse then reinstalled Sins. and guess what.. lol no maps at all ? im realy confused to whats going on ? guess il have to email ironclad r something right ? 

seems the normal sins works fine , but not expansion

i think you have to open the game up once before the folders will show up, once you have exit it, put the files in there and try again. I had the same problem the first I every tried a mod, and that was less than 2 months ago
