hi guys was having problems with mods showing , so decided to do a fresh install... windows included.
just finished updating everything , and re-installed the digital version of the game including entrenchment... load the game up now im having the problem i had with mods not showing up.. the maps arnt showing up ?
anyone care to help ??
right ok , the normal sins works fine .. but the expansion no maps shows ?
damodamo are you putting the maps in the user space sins\galaxyforge folder, ie for xp C:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge or for vista win7 C:\Users\'user name'\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge ?
or are you puting the maps in the OLD location of programs files\...\sins...\galaxy ?
entrenchment1.02 looks in the userspace galaxyforge for maps and also the userspace mapdesigner then uses the galaxy.manifest to get the maps in the program files galaxy progfiles\sins\entrenchment\galaxy folders only.
by the way the two folders AFTER the 'user name' are hidden folders so you need to unhide hidden folders to be able to navigate to them or you could just copy the path & paste into the address bar changing the 'user name' to the user name that you installed with windows which might be owner or administrator.
