I purchased my game through Stardock last year and decided to dust it off again and see what the new patche had to offer.  Both the old stardock software's patch now and the find update link in the game don't seem to work.  I tried installing Impulse on the box with the game but it requires ie 7.0+.  Regretfully due to work requirements I am stuck with having to use ie 6.0.  So I opened a ticket last week giving my startdock purchase order and serial, but still haven't heard from anyone although in all honesty it hasn't been that long.

Trying to find a workaround I installed impulse on a laptop which can't run the game and started the main download again.  I'm hoping it will give me the option to pull down the patch separately after the main install which I can copy onto my larger box - but who knows.  Does anyone know if the download and archive function contains a fully patched version of the game?

I personally think it's a pretty poor choice building *anything* over IE and dropping support for your older software.
