Entrenchment issues -- when will Entrenchment players be able to see and join regular Sins games flawlessly?

I also have to reset my regular Sins keybinds every time I open it.

Have there been any updates on whether or not Ironclad is working to fix the problem of Entrenchment players not being able to see (and seamlessly join) standard Sins games on ICO?  I find having to close one version and open the other version to see what games are available rather bothersome.  Also, will the problem with keybinds not being saved for regular Sins if you have Entrenchment installed get fixed?  I'm having to reset my keybindings every time I open up standard Sins.

I have not bought entrenchment but want to. Most of my friends will not be updating. This means what? Will I be able to join their games without a problem or will I not be able to update that system.

If none of your friends get entrenchment thats fine. Entrenchment doesn't change the game files it just adds on to it. That means you can still play with non-entrenchment players by just opening the regular game.

Entrenchment is just like a mod, so really

I'm hoping this is an option I can disable. I want nothing to do with original Sins, as I find Entrenchment superior.

So far, no one from Ironclad has responded, which is kinda sad.  :'(   Blair, are you still out there?  Is this sort of an improvement for Entrenchment and the other expansions in the cards and would it be difficult to implement?

You should email them and ask, it's always superior to forums :P

I think this issue is worthy of being addressed publicly.  Email is really for technical issues and not feature requests.

What exactly are the problem(s)?

I understand the keybindings not transferring over, but can you be more specific about the joining issue?

The issue is the lobby shows a game available but it is not displayed (as it is a Vanilla game - opposite is true for vanilla people - Ent games are listed as available but not displayed). The only way to see who is in that game and choose if you want to play it is to quit Ent and load vanilla.

When the expansion was coming out, there was a suggestion that the engine would drop back to Vanilla automatically if someone didn't have Sins. This is an important feature was the next 2 expansions can lead to many people having different combinations, not just the 2 options they have now
