Something that I'd like to see in Sins...

I know that Sins is primarily a war game, but I would like sometimes to play a more diplomacy centered game, at least with some of the AI's in the game.  So I wish there were three buttons to set three different 'states' for all your ships.  state 1 would be normal, attack everything you see.  But I'd also like two other options, state 2 would be to close in, but not fire unless fired upon, and state 3 would completely ignore other ships.

Sometimes when I'm playing, I want to try to get AI allies in game, but it's hard with my ships attacking every random scout that passes by.  Also, if I place my fleets in a certain place in a gravity well, I might not want the fleet running all over the place when a scout appears.

Thank you :)

Nuking scouts doesn't cause a loss in happiness anymore. It used to, but they took it out :P

There is an option in the fleet commands button to set the stance of your fleet to 'hold position', 'attack local area', and 'attack gravitiy well'.  This doesn't apply to the strike craft, though, just their host ship.

you could just get your SC to be docked so they wont attack

Thats what the second micro-expansion is all about: diplomacy.

Ah yes, of course. :)  will these micro expansions contain all of the features of the previous ones...?  Like, will the Diplomacy expansion have starbases and mines?

No i'm pretty sure you will have to have entrenchment to be able to have SB/mines etc.  But if you have both micros i'm fairly certain they will work together, it's been said somewhere else I believe.

That's what I mean, kind of.  Like, if I buy all three expansions, will I be able to use all the features in one game...or will I have three different icons on my desktop that I have to run individually?
