Naming convention for Nulls ?? -- Help please

Does anyone know the naming convention, that is used for the null points when you wish to add another mesh to an existing one?

i.e how do you add those trade booms on the TEC Starbase i am guessing its somthing like P001-??-0  P002-??-0 etc

anyone also know when the Developer 1.02 will be released ??

First off i should say i am not a modeller, so null points i know about as much as carbuerator valves (nothing). But with regards to "How" they are adding the trade booms to the Tec Starbase?

I believe they are layering the starbase, in the same way they layer the planets, using callouts for each different mesh that is added for the overall image.

I could be wrong, and haven't verified this with any of the modders or the devs, but that is my guess from seeing how the planets are put together using multiple meshes.

Hope you get an answer and hope i havent steered you off course, take care,

It goes like this

StarBaseTech.mesh <---------- Default TEC Starbase

StarBaseTech-Trade.mesh <--------- Starbase with trade/docking arms only

StarBaseTech-Weapon1.mesh <------- Starbase with Weapon1 only

StarBaseTech-Weapon2.mesh

StarBaseTech-TradeWeapon1.mesh

StarBaseTech-TradeWeapon2.mesh  <------------ All upgrades TEC Starbase i.e. Trade + Weapon2

Each mesh replaces the previous mesh it does not add to it, so they all contain the basic structure of the starbase and act as a whole not as a core parent structre with child objects.
