Hi guys,
I have some sad news. The Diplomacy micro expansion has been delayed. The tentative release date has been pushed to late Summer. I will keep you up to date as I hear more.
well, since we never really got a release date anyway (at least I cannot recall any specification), it's hardly a delay. at least in external communication anyway. too bad though that it's late. hope to see some more info on this one. I mean it seems a bit strange, since the entrenchment launch went pretty smoothly, so that would not seem to be a reason for delay. well, maybe IC decided to pack a bit more stuff into it or that doing it proper will take more time than anticipated.
thx for the update, even if it's a sad one and I'll be on the watchout for more news. hopefull better ones then.

I hope there will be a preorder beta as it was with Entrenchment. I was fun to see how the expansion grows up.
It doesn't even have an actual name (unless Deplomacy is it? :P) and already delayed! *grin*
But yeah, didn't really expect it soon anyway since IC's been vewy vewy quiet about it.

Given that we haven't heard a thing about the contents I am fine with any delay.

oh well more/some Demigod time then, but as long as it doesn't go the way of society Im fairly ok with it being delayed
lol I too don't remember a tentative release date for the expansion. But Summer is good, thats 2-5 months away!
Sorry to hear this, but thanks for letting us know. With no new posts in news in over a month I was beginning to wonder if there would be any more updates...
Can I just pay for it now and have impulse install it when it's ready? No really, I start a new job at the end of June and 80 hour weeks are the norm, and this is totally the kind of thing I would forget about without having time to check the forums. And then I'd pissed when I get a weekend off in November and it's been out since september, and there are 4 days I could've been playing it . . . anyway, please?
Ha! No problems, Frogboy. Gives me more time to play with Entrenchment which I just downloaded yesterday (AI seems smarter, and my gravity wells are littered with mines!).
Seems like you could have come in here and said "yay, the new expansion will be out in late summer" and you probably would have gotten tons of responses to the tune of "sweet fennel!" and "kudos!". 
Oh, no problem. With everything that's going on in the world..it's no wonder. I am looking forward to seeing some teasers for it though. It would be cool so start hearing some specifics about what this is going to bring to the game....
They wrote "Summer" but they don't wrote what year !!!! Hope that it is not Summer 2020 
Well, delayed until Summer is better than delayed until Fall or Winter (barring any year shenanigans). Just remember that we're all supposed to get it for free now that we have to wait a few extra months

I know its a diplomacy expansion
I only play Locked team games online. Will the expansion effect me.
Basically is there anything in the expansion I should be looking forward to , even tho I only play locked teams?
If it's good enough you might stop playing locked teams
