Cannot start SoaSE

SDactivate.exe doesn't work

Hi, sorry if there is already a topic about problems like this but I couldn't find anything.

I bought SoaSE and updated it to 1.16 via Impulse. Then I tried to start it (via the launcher) but I got an error mesage saying "Could not run SDActivate.exe. Try running as admin." I then tried to run it in admin mode (I have to start SDactivate.exe directly for that) and after giving it admin permission I get a tray symbol for like a half second or so. After that nothing happens and I am still unable to run the game

I also tried the other .exe files in the game folder but they don't really do anything either.

Oh, I'm using Vista Business, 32 bit, btw. and the demo of SoaSE was running without any problems.

Did you uninstall the demo first?

If not, that is probably your issue....

Yeah, I uninstalled the demo first.

I uninstalled SoaSE now and without patches it works (but I am missing out on bug fixes and new features )

Gonna try the email.
