Custom Galaxy Forge Maps Won't Work in MP

I built a custom map in Galaxy forge and e-mailed it to a friend so we could play on it over ICO.  We can both play it without a problem in single-player, but when we tried to play it in multi-player, it gave us the instant 'Defeat' screen as soon as it loaded up.

We both have it in the 'Galaxt Forge' folder.

The only thing that's different between our two systems is I run XP and he runs Vista.

The map starts with more than the normal start-up resources.  Could this be causing it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Could be a team setting or something. The current Galaxy Forge is picky, and buggy at times when you send move maps around.

Might also wanna try to remake it and send it again. Sometimes it doesnt save things right.

This game does an AWFUL job with real custom maps.  They won't even auto-download in online multiplayer.

First off, what version of Sins are you playing?  If you're on Entrenchment 1.02 or Sins v1.16 I can help you out, I think.

First, go find my thread in the Multiplayer forum about 2 DT and one BIA playing a custom map and read the installation instructions there or download my custom map pack at http://tinyurl.com/sinsmaps and read the Installation Instructions.txt file.  Just follow that for the map you want to play.

The biggest problem people seem to be having is to find their Sins Application Data folder.

I'm playing Entrenchment 1.02 and Sins 1.16.  I'll try out these suggestions when I have some spare time, and let you know how it works.

Thanks
