disk wont read

I am trying to download sins of a soldar empire, and when I insert the disk my computer does not read it, almost like I put in a blank disk. I have been searching the forums for people who have the same problem and they say to download the stardock central at - https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/ - I go onto this website and click the download and it does not ask to download stardock central, it asks to download something called impulse, this is very frusterating alls I want to do is dowload the game and play.

If your trying to download the digital copy of the game you need to use Impulse. Stardock Central is no longer around.

No, I have the game, but the disk will not read in my computer. stardock central was where I could put in my valid code and dowload it for free but impulse wants me to buy it online. Im not gonna spend my money agian on a game I already own.

If you have your CD Key still, you can once you create a Impluse account (username and password) activate SINS on Impulse by registering it. Once you have registered your game you should be able to download it for free.

which code in the box is the serial code, I have used all of them I see and none work.

sticker on the inside of the disc box that says " PC SINS SOLAR CODE STKR " also try putting the dash ( -) between each set of 5 digits

AFAIK, there is only 1 key in the box or manual.

try just manually going to your disk drive and selecting the setup file from the CD.

i had a similar problem and that worked for me

dude, thnx so much. i just got the disc and my dvd rom isnt workin so i was tryin to figure out how to do this. anyway, thnx again.

I had the same issue.  I still had the demo installed as well.  Once I uninstalled the demo the game loaded just fine.
