Should I Run This?

I was looking for a great space-empire game, and found Sins of a Solar Empire. I wish to run this game on my laptop, so I checked the requirements and whatnot. I surpass everyone of the Minimum Requirements, and most of the Suggested Requirments, except:

Recommended: 2.2 GHz dual-core processor

You Have: 2 processors running - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz

So my question is: Is this one weakpoint serious enough that I should postpone purchasing this game? Or does the fact that I reach the Minimum Requirements enough.

Oh. And I run Vista. If that makes a difference.

I use a duo core @ 1.66 GHz. You can get away with a lot. The more limiting factor is probably your GRAPHICS card. Mine is a 512 MB and I can run SINS on average to high settings for small-medium battles. Make sure yours is up to par.

If you play SP, then the AI can slow the game down a lot.

If you play MP, then there are less AIs to run, so less issues with this slow down. Lag becomes more of an issue then a noticible slowdown...
