Hello. I just installed SSE yesterday - not the expansion, though - and patched it to the latest version through Impulse. However, I'm having a most irritating problem - whenever I save a game and reload it later on, I have two major issues..

1. The background becomes pale blue. No matter how much I play around with the settings, it will not return to black, or red, or whatever. It remains pale blue, period.

2. I cannot zoom in on the map. All I can do is move from left to right, and if I push forward, kind of above the system - but I cannot zoom into it. This is pretty much a game breaker.

Anyways, I have a Nvidia GEFORCE 9800 GT, drivers updated, running Windows Vista x64. If there's any other info I can give you that would help, let me know.

Edit: I just wanted to emphasize that this ONLY happens with save games. If I start a new game, there's no problem.
