Ironclad Online lags

Hi,

 

since a week or so, Ironclad Online is very laggy.

When we start a game we get a ping of 900 and the status lagging.

So the ships freezes and nothing goes on.

When we play over hamachi there is no lag and we have a ping of 40.

 

Is there anything wrong with the Ironclad servers?

We come from germany. Any european has problems with the online-play too?

Any solutions?

When you are actually playing, you aren't actually using Ironclad servers - the game is P2P with the host syncing the game to ensure that everyone has run the simulation up to a certain point before the next round of simulation occurs. Lag is normally because one of the players cannot keep up due to data transmission issues or trying to run the game on a machine that cannot handle it (e.g. have graphics too high etc...)

I'm in Australia, so my ping to other people is often slightly higher then for US only people.

well we played a lot of games without lagging.

and when we play over hamachi we also have no lags.

only if we use ironclad online so i thought there could be a problem.

when we try a 1vs1 over ironclad online ping is like 900 and status lagging

when we play 1vs1 over hamachi ping is 40 and no lagging.

 

that really sucks...

I've got the same problem, playing from Iceland and my ping to mainland Europe is 50ms and about 150 to North America and no problems with bandwidht either.

It's ICO Hack, not the host.  It seems worst on the weekends.
