Strange Problem

Okay, so recently I was playing and tried to activate the Sins of a Galactic Empire mod. When I did this I got a minidump. Upon restarting Sins, I learned that the main menu was now messed up, with the option to quit the game gone, and some of the graphics out of place. When I went to the mods menu, I found a blank space with some text at the uper left hand corner with numbers that were too small for me to read and "not found." Some things in the game are odd as well, such as it not highlited units. I have unistalled and reinstalled the game, but that has not done anything. What should I do? These problems were in Entrenchment, by the way. I haven't checked vanilla Sins.

Did you make sure that the mod works with your version of the game? Sounds like it doesn't. To get the normal game back, delete the mod's folder:

  • Where are the files kept for Sins of a Solar Empire (such as screenshots and such?)

    • Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. To unhide them, go to your Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.

    XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

    Vista:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

    Not the main "Mods-...v1..." folder of course.

    Yeah, that was completely my fault. XD The current release for SOGE is for vanilla Sins, and all the other mods I play around with are for Entrenchment, so I guess I put it into Entrenchment out of habit. XD. Anyway, thanks for the help.
