Capitols in 20 minutes?

They do get more resources at harder levels (cheat). I have though gotten two caps in less than 10 min, but htat was in a mod. Generally I can pull one within 20 min though, you just have to stay focused on what you want and only build and research what will get you there fastest.

1. build your first cap, its free, do not repeat do not pay for training.

2. build one research station, (perferably civilian)

3. research only the next cap crew level

4. use black market to get your resources

Extra. if built civilian research station then research all tier one economic techs (civiilian upgrades and resource upgrades)

Just for the record... they are "Capital" ships, not capitol. The capital of the US is Washington D.C. (as in city), and the capitol is in it (capitol as in the building where Congress meets). Capital also applies to the main ship of a fleet; but capitol only applies to buildings.

bro you can get a 2nd cap as soon as you build your first.. pretty much within the first 5mins .. if the game is on large fleet you just make a lab buy the tech and sit for the resources or sell some metal. it works.

I have got two SB's up around the sun in the system I started in so once I bring in a third one, It wont matter how many capitals the enemy has, I will be able to destroy them.

I never truly understand as why the AI pump out their 2nd Cap so early in the game, I guess AI just feeling sorry for me, lol(which is a huge mistake).
