Soase serial key problem need help

ok well i reinstalled sins today and bought entrenchment on impulse i go to install entrenchment and it tells me if i would like to register the original sins now i say cancel because i don't have the serial anymore since i've moved so many times and it wont let my download and install. i do have entrenchment registered any ideas on what to do?

You can email [email protected], but if you never registered your Sins serial before there's not a whole lot they'd be able to do.

thank you for your quick reply. and your right i never did register be for because i never wanted online play, so does that mean i can't play the game i just bought because i didn't register my key? because i can't remember being told i have to register it for expansions to work later on

Well, the expansion requires the latest version of Sins, which you can only get by registering it for the updates. So yeah, if you don't have the Sins key then you can't play Entrenchment. They should be able to refund you for it, and they may offer a discounted Sins serial as a replacement as well so there are a few options. You just have to talk to them.

The manual would not have mentioned the expansions or, at the least, not much about them. However, I believe the Sins manual does say that you need to register to get updates to the game.  And I think you need an updated version of Sins to play Entrenchment.

thank you for your help i have sent them an email. i never have really registed games because once it install you just want to play it lol from now on i think i will be registering my games. i hope i can get to play entrenchment becasue i played it at a friend house and didn't allow him to go on his computer for 3 hours lol

Well Stardock's registration is also a bit different than other companies.. if you register your key, you can re-download the game whenever you want in case you lose your cd or whatnot, so that's a big bonus.
