Keeps saying my serial code is wrong...

I'm trying to add the game to Impulse so I can update it, but it keeps saying my serial code is wrong. I put it exactly as it is on the back of the manual, but I keep getting an error. I'd really like to actually be able to play the game I bought, so could someone help me out here?
