Okay so my freind insists that the Wii is better than the PS3. In my opinion playing the Wii is worse than shooting yourself in the foot. I am sure that the PS3 is better, with great games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare plus graphics that leave the Wii in the dust. I mean the quality is so great that the character model for Kratos from God of War cant even fit on a Wii disk. So anyway I said Id make a poll and ask what you think. And remember, this is only between PS3 and Wii. NO XBOX 360!

What else lets you watch movies, play games, listen to music and chat with friends SIMULTANEOUSLY (serious multitasking but possible ;)).

 

+ when it's on the pc, no more worries about the cd's!

First, I'm going to agree that PC > all

That being said, I'm going to have to agree with your friend in that the Wii is better than the PS3. A large part of that is because of my personal taste in games. I dislike most FPSs, and that seems to be most of the highly rated games on the PS3. I would much rather play The Legend of Zelda or Super Mario Galaxy than MGS or CoD, but again, that is just my taste in games.

I also have to say that good graphics != good game. A game can have graphics so good that you can't tell them apart from real life (which would actually be kind of creepy) but that doesn't mean the gameplay will be any good.

Personally (and keep in mind that this is just my opinion, I'm not trying to bash anyone/any thing) the PS3 is just a very expensive blu-ray player (or George Foreman grill, if you want to do that)

I personally prefer console shooters and PC RTS and flight sims, the latter simply due to the fact that I have a joystick for my PC and not for the 360.  I'm too lazy to get a 360 joystick.

Halo Wars was an awesome console RTS, and they somehow managed to make the interface incredibly easy to use.

the Console did not murder graphics.  seriously.  Go onto acecombatsix.com and go to "Is It Real?".  if you easily get every plane right (whether it's an Ace combat plane, or a real-life photo) then you may try to compare the graphics between the two.

For me, among the consoles, I love the 360.  why? it's got:

HALO!!!!!!!!!

I totaly agree, I loved Super Mario Bros 3 for the NES. But theres nothing wrong with good graphics, they just make a good game better

Wait, wouldn't "All" contain the PC as well?  I believe you've created an infinite loop there.

 

My house has 2 Wiis, 2 X360s, a PS3, 2 PS2s, 1 GCN, 1 XBOX, 2 N64s, 2 SNESs, 1 NES, 3 DSs, 4 PCs, and 4 laptops.  Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. 

We'd have an Atari 2600, but my roommate's dad won't let it go. :'(

Holy! Why do you need 2 Wiis, 360, PS2, N64 of SNES? I can understand multiple DSs, PCs, and laptops, but why do you need more than one of those others?

One Wii, PS2, N64, SNES, DS, PC, and laptop is mine.  As well as the NES, GCN, and PS3.  I also have 3 roommates.

Everything's fine except for the 2 drum sets and 5 guitars for Rock Band / Guitar Hero. :P
