Doesn't look bad..but it does seem a lot like eve.

looks like eve but glad to see more picks in this type but still wish someone would make a 1 player version so it can be enjoyed with out spend 100's of hours on it a week as most rpgs do

It's merely all that what Microsoft's Freelancer should have been before it was stripped off all its great ideas. It's Eve for people without a math-diploma.

yeah i guess it's similar, though the gameplay will be more like EVE but faster pace, and less math (so they say)

Not even close to the same game.  Its a space flight sim mmo.  Looking forward to it.

Yeah, Jumpgate evolution is like Jumpgate, not Eve.  Jumpgate came first.

Finally.... somebody got it right. Yes, the original Jumpgate came way before EVE.

Also, unlike EVE it had a superb flight engine with somewhat realistic physics. It also rewarded ability more than time spent in game. It is still live, and even though graphically dated, it is still quite fun to play.

Hopefully, Jumpgate Evolution will be a worthy sucessor to the original. I for one am dying to play it.

I am also.  I just wish they would hurry up with the beta.
