paypal?  (I believe they have alternate methods of collecting money from just creditcard.  I think you can mail in money to gain account balance, but don't quote me on that)

You can add bank accounts to Paypal also.  Not sure if there is a limitation in Europe.

other guy are right... i was with the same problem... with paypal, you will be able to add found via your usual bank account... only problem is that you will be limited to something like 1500 euro year ( not sure of the amount but it is low )due to the fact that you cannot certify your account ( only via credit card )...

So, use only paypal for site like Stardock who don't accept direct payment from bank account to bank account... if you make very few purchase via internet, these limit will not be a problem...

If you find the procedure to much complicate because you only wish buy Entrenchment, i can buy it for you and once you have it, you can wire the found to my bank account ( trans european bank to bank is free of charge )...

If you wish it for free, simply wait a little... once the beta of 7DS mod 2.5 is out, i will give 10 version of entrenchment for free of Entrenchment to the beta tester... you help us, we help you...

In any case, if you don't find a solution for your problem with Stardock, PM me and i will try help you... Stardock make great software/game but in some way, they seem to forget that they have 300 million popential customer in Europa ( and forget that here, not everything work like in US... debit card is usual here, credit card is not the norm because not really needed )...

My solution originally (for GC expansions and Sins) was "Dad, can you please pay for something using your credit card and I pay you back?"

Mentality if someway a little different here in europa that in US... here, some people don't like credit ( spend money that you don't own )... debit card are more usual that credit card.... Stardock accept credit card but don't work with debit card...

Last few years credit crisis have puch European people to trust more the debit system that the credit one... maybe we are wrong but here ( in Europa ) the mentality is more about spend the money that you have that the money your don't have ( US credit system )... Simply, Stardock shop is not adapt to these European reality...

there is the possiblilty of a debit visa/mastercard, at least here in australia. I have had a debit visa card for 17 years now

The store does support debit cards such as the VISA check card, however they must be VISA/MC logo cards which can be used with a signature (like a credit card) and not only by PIN entry.

This was my problem... have a Maestro Card ( who replace the old Eurocheck system )... work with a code on the bank automate in the street, work with a challange and a code when using online banking... this is a very secure method since without the code, nobody can use your card... with a Visa, if somebody see your nummer at the front of the card and the 3 digit at the back, they can buy everything without the need to have your card...i can have a Visa card but there is too much fraud, specialy on the internet...

But like reply on the top, the paypal option via bank work very good for little purchase... and perfectly for Stardock product
