Why two different start game menu options for SoaSE and Entrenchment

This is just a curiosity thing but why have SoaSE and Entrencment on the same menu.. Most all games I have played when there was an expansion, I would click the same start game button as normal meaning the expansion was adding content to the original/same game I have been playing all along.

Here it seems there are two different games we have the option to play.. The original SoaSE AND Entrenchment..

I was playing the original game even after getting entrenchment not realizing Entrenchment has it's own start button..

Just seems kinda weird..

This is correct. It was done this way so that people who have the expansion can still launch vanilla Sins and play with people who don't have it.

That makes perfect sense. Thanks for the info..

Well, they could have made what Starcraft did, make you select one or the other, and then you could select which one you want to launch by default, and chane it if you want to.
