Verifying... Still verifying...

I recently bought the boxed version of SoaSE and have already installed Impulse. Right now, I am at version number 1.0, but after trying to update, Impulse says that the update is "Verifying..." I've tried it about 5 times anew, and even left it overnight last night, but it doesn't stop. I've tried pausing and resuming and restarting the program. I've already used impulse to download and install objectdock and mycolors, both of which worked fine.

 

I'm using Windows Vista 32-bit edition. Help would be apprecited if anyone still scours these threads...

If you have some antivirus/antispyware/firewall software it may be interfering with the download. Try adding Impulse.exe as an exclusion within this type of software and then try again. If you continue to have trouble, please send over your startup/dxdiag/Impulse error log info to [email protected] as detailed here: https://forums.stardock.com/341573

also you can try running impulse as administrator by right mouseclicking on the impulse icon then leftclicking on properties, then clicking on compatibility tab and puting a tick in the bottom box run as administrator
