Granted. You get into a car headon car crash on the highway with a drunken fool. But unlike that fool, you aren't buckled up, and are sent flying through the windshield and into a billboard that has a picture of the sky, where you impact at 100 km/h and leave a bloody stain on the baby blue color.

Granted. they have satire which (d)evolves into skits like on Family Guy

I actually meant kids' cartoons. Children's animation today is a disgrace compared to ten years ago.

Granted, but you have no way to record anything, or put it on the disk. You sell it on ebay fro $5, and the person who bought it creates a super-compter virus and lets it loose upon the Internet, resulting in the loss of all online data. Western civilization collapses.

Granted. People begin discrimmnating based on food preference. People who like baked chiken instead of fried are ridiculled and villified. Tired of their deplorable treatment, they revolt.  The Second American Civil War begins.

If WWI never happened, then there would never have been a WWII. Thus, no pressure to advance technologically and we are easy targets for those dog-aliens mentioned before.
