Why have all these spoanners showed up within a month of each other?

Once, when I was in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai, I met a mysterious old stranger. He said he was about to die and wanted to tell someone about the treasure. I said, "Okay, as long as it's not a long story. Some of us have a plane to catch, you know."
He started telling his story, about the treasure and his life and all, and I thought: "This story isn't too long." But then, he kept going, and I started thinking, "Uh-oh, this story is getting long." But then, the story was over, and I said to myself: "You know, that story wasn't too long after all."
I forget what the story was about, but there was a good movie on the plane. It was a little long though.

School's out. The mystery to me is why they've come *here*...

The fact that you two seem to run into each other alot, and that she insults you all the time, says to me that she (has, had) a secret crush on you back then..

Also, if you two argue like that now, wait until you get married!

lol, i remember school used to be like that, the teachers and school councillor used to be like, oh, if you dont give them a response they'll go away, friggin idiots, they'd get the response from their friends and id still be screwed. so, what happened, all the pricks started insulting me n stuff, because they thought they could get away with it cause i couldnt punch them or anything

so, one day i just had a brain snap and punched this kid in the face, he went screaming to a teacher and said how i got like a run up and kept punching him etc...

luckily, this teacher was one of my Rugby coaches (its like Australian Grid Iron (but better) for all you Americans out there who dont know) so the teacher is like, i dont think he hit you that hard *Matt*, you are just lucky he didnt whack you into next week...

My personal philosophy (depending on the situation) is that i dont give a flying f**k if they are boy/girl, big/small, asian/lebanese whatever, if they have intent and ability to cause me or those i care about serious or prolonged harm, then ill beat the living daylights out of them, BUT if it can be avoided, then avoid it.

thats the problem, bullies think that because emotional scars are invisible, they can do whatever without repercussions... honestly, every bully needs at least one good beating by his/her victims once in their life

They can't go to the WoW forums because everyone is as bad as them. So they have no individuality there. Same with Dota.

If they go to EVE or Darkfall forums they'd get flammed into oblivion. Same with MMORPG.com.

They don't have twitter or facebook to have a whine on because they are dead set against it. So they come here to a community in the making :C

I've often wondereds about the psychology of spammers and trolls.... is there something seriously wrong with tyhem mentally? Do they just want attention? Or are they just stupid? The problem is, since web people's "real" details are kept by the company and there is no way to cheack accuracy, it would be impossible to do an emperical study, and I don't think anyone else cares anyway....

Most trolls are just casually bored, I'd guess. The ones that should be studied are those truly dedicated trollish spammers like that dude we had last week.

/troll, I don't think Strikesback5 was a spammer in the conventional sense. It looked like he was trying to get more people to visit his sites and move them up on Google, as well as possibly spreading malware of some variety (you'll notice a lot of his posts have a link somewhere in them).

In response to a report that was made, as I've said before, "off-topic" does not mean "no topic" or "anything goes".

As with any forum thread, please give some thought before making a post. Is it something other people will find interesting or useful? Is it appropriate? What sort of responses will it generate? Does it express an original thought (ex., not just reposting something verbatim that you saw on digg)?

If you're just looking to speak your mind or blow off steam rather than discuss something, then a category which is shared across several different game forums is probably not the ideal place to do so (imagine shouting about the topic in the middle of a mall or intersection). Instead, I'd urge such posters to consider starting a blog or posting to an approriate category on our own JoeUser.com where you'll be able to speak to/with people who are interested in the subject.

You said you had "native" heritage. That makes you a "protected class" by your definition (what most people simply refer to as a minority). Unless by "native" you mean white, which, unfortunately, is not actually native. Ethnicity is a VERY subjective thing, but the majority of Americans are actually European in ancestry (although that will soon change).
