I already fixed all textures in my build of the mod. The ships affected by the odd sized textures are the B'rel, Akira, D-11 Onewing, and the Cardassian Kimal. The rest of the ships are within the required specs. Just resize the texture width to 1024 (512 in the Kimals case). Leave the height alone. After resize you shouldnt get the "Texture Missmatch" error in dev.exe. Also make sure you re-save ALL .dds textures you edit in DTX5 ARGB format (including the normal maps). Blammo! You are done.

Ships dissapearing in warp bug should be as simple as copying the info from the 0.03c HyperspaceTravel.particle info into the entrenchment 0.03e version of the mod. I will do that with my version and let you know what text to edit.

Ships Specific Debris textures shouldnt have an alpha channel at all in the -cl textures (nor should any ship/structure have them). Alpha in the -cl texture is Team Color. SoA2 doesn't use team colors. Copy and paste the specular maps you have in the -cl texture into the -da textures RED channel of the respective model. The FILL the alpha of the -cl texture all Black. This will remove the alpha map when you re-save it. Deleting the Alpha channel will force the texture to be saved with a White alpha channel. Filling it black will remove it completely.

Just have a look at the Sacrifice of Angels plate above the yellow alert graphic at the top of the page.  The top part just turned black today, so I'm guessing the other sides will disappear one at a type (or maybe the left and right at the same time).  That's been the most consistent form we've seen on the forum.  I bet when it all turns black we're good to go.

You could always check the Issues page they've got going at the google link above, as well.  Then you'll know exactly what's going on. ;)

Not gonna lie... I'm not even that interested in Diplomancy... sounds kinda boring... unless they have some new cool ships, or maybe a new race or some really good eye Candy I'm not gonna bother with it.

I'm with you Jim.  I'm not overly interested in Diplomacy either.  I do believe this mod will add a "freshness" to Sins and keep us coming back for more as the mod progresses on.

maybe... but this is primarly a combat game... plus after all the dicking around it took to release Entrenchment... what was it, like a year late releasing it if I remember right???

The 3rd add-on is supposed to be offensive... that one I'll check out.  But this Diplomancy one??  I'm holding off until I see what everyone else thinks...

Honestly, im gonna get Diplomacy just for the hell of it. I'm not too big of a diplomat myself, but hey you never know what it will really add to teh gameplay.

Now on the mod, I really hope you guys are able to find and kill those last few bugs. Seems like they are really giving you guys hell, but good job pushing the rest of them out of the way.

Diplomacy was and is the weakest feature in Sins.  Most people decide not to deal with it and just play with locked teams.  I don't see Diplomacy being a bit hit since diplomacy as a feature has already been written off by most Sins players.

well diplomacy will for sure make the game longer u gotta think more of it like u can play civ4+sins

and especially in the Star Trek universe diplomacy is very important i think.. :P
