The diplomacy expansion was in planning since sins was 1st released. The devs said sins was the 1st of a trilogy, Now we got entrenchment. So it is only obvious that we are going to get diplomacy. I am looking forward to it. We do need a better diplomacy system in game to complete its 4x nature. Plus it will bring more depth into SoA2. I also love loooooong and drawn out games where you have to think and plan very carefully your next move. No doubt we will have to re-build the mod yet again to incorporate the new expansion features. Re-building the mod for every new patch or expansion is almost becoming second nature to us. In the mean time we will try to get as much finished for entrenchment as we can.

OK, I will agree I like the really long "Epic" games... I've even played way past the point of winning just because.

And yeah, I would think adjusting a MOD for the expansion wouldn't be nearly as hard as what you guys did to originally build it.

I'm actually kind of hoping to see this mod launched this weekend!  You guys seem to be on track for a release sometime soon =)  Knowing my luck though you guys will go live with it on Friday the second after I shut down and leave for the weekend >< lol

Yep, it's changed for sure, and more of the background is gone now. I gotta believe this means SOMETHING!!

 

EDIT: Check out the bug page. 2 more were reported fix. I think that's all of them from my count, unless there's one we missed somewhere!!!!

They've been turning blue as the gray melts away; it's just more visible now with most of the plate being black. One, maybe two more changes and we should be good to go.

I believe someone said there were 9 MAJOR issues to fix before they would release it.  I'm sure some of what they've fixed up to this point was major, we just have to hope ALL of them were.  ;)

Well looks like things are progressing great around here, and this should be out to the public soon.

As for all of you arguing about how many issues are left to sort out, try going here:

It should be obvious to even the layperson, that there are still 2 issues left that are completely holding up the progress (especially since they have them labelled as Critical).
