Indeed, the same happened at the pirates base, I'd warp in with a fleet and the pirates ignored my ships, as did the defence guns

I warped to another star and found the enemy AI, the first planet had two frigates and a starbase. none of which attacked me, nor did they attack when I attacked them

Note, four Neghvar's will rape a maxed out starbase.  That fleet is not necessary, it's severe overkill. :)

Shimmer, did starbase range get changed at all for this patch?  I'm really worried about them becoming useless structures after their HP and SP getting more "ballanced."  Right now they're still defeatable even when they're very powerful, despite paying an arm and a leg for them. 

I would hope that if their strength has come down, their price has also dropped in an attempt to make them more viable structures for one's economy.  That, and I would really hope they got a bigger attack range to make them more viable as defensive structures, because as it stands now, they are terribly easy to avoid inside a gravity well of a planent, and that goes double or triple inside a star.

I'm worried that things like that might not have been looked at when the starbases were reballanced.  Can you shed any light on these issues to try and quell my worries?

I saw the update at the top under the yellow alert that says, "Standby".  That means were close everyone (as far as I can see it, the next time anything in the banner changes will be the patch release)!

I can't wait to see what you guys have come up with, and am eagerly anticipating the release :grin: !!!

Though its a shame the next scheduled multiplayer isn't til Sunday. Might just have to pop on at 8 tonight anyway to see if there's anyone else suffering withdrawal :D.

i took the starbase and reduced the range by half and tripled the damage.... lol j/k

Argh. Hate to say this... But patch is just dumping on me. And Jaffa Cakes who's next to me.


If you want I can upload the dump file, but yeah, I'm afraid the patch is not working for me. Or maybe it's just us and we're not understanding the instructions right :S. I tried a clean "install" of the mod as well before putting the patch over, but still no luck :(.

The patch is giving me minidumps on startup.  Tried it twice, with a clean version of the mod too.

Minidump with the patch confirmed. The patch is missing the Klingon_TyGoKor.mesh. Until the patch is updated I have posted the needed mesh file, you can download it here: http://www.filefront.com/14490439/Klingon_TyGoKor.rar

Simply donwload and extract to the mesh folder in the SoA folder.

Shadow- you have to copy and paste it (not sure how to get url links working on the forums). But I think 15 other people have managed to download it, so should be fine :).
