Im not sure if this is a technical probelm or my own fault,

I can use phase lanes to move between systems easily enough, but I purchased the upgrade for the TEC force to 'travel to distant star systems' or something along those lines as ive seen other ships move between solar systems this way.

I bought it and ordered my ships to travel to a planet or star by clicking on it and they tell me they cant do it, Ive tried to move my ships to the closet plant in my system to the star and they still say they cant move there.

Ive tried all the buttons on the keyboard but nothing works, I have defiantly purchased the upgrade so dont know what im doing wrong. It does the same thing online or offline games,

what am i doing wrong? or is it just a glitch?
