"Wrong version" when attempting multiplayer with my friend over LAN

Hey everyone, my friend and I got Sins a few days ago and are digging the single player aspects, but when we try to play a multiplayer game over our LAN it gives us, "Wrong version". This occurs when we attempt to join one another's room after having selected "Multiplayer" from the game's main menu. We have both updated our versions to 1.17, but are having no luck whatsoever getting a multiplayer match up and running. Any thoughts or ideas? Would be much appreciated, thanks much!

Hmm, don't get a lot of LAN questions on the boards, you'd probably be better off emailing [email protected] and they should be able to help you out.
