Two OS's one install?

I have limited space on my windows seven drive so I wanted to know, before I install it on the same drive it is already on. Can I somehow use the files that are already on my D drive to run it in seven? Maybe adding it to the games in impulse somehow.

Sorry if this sounds a bit incoherent.

Thank you.

If i understood correctly, you have two OS's on your computer, and want to know if you can run Sins from the install you've made to the older OS? If so, yes. Just find the Sins executable from the existing install, and run it. Sins doesn't rely on any registry entries, so it should be able to run from the other drive.

It gives me an error.

"Could Not Run SDActivate.exe. Try Running as Admin."

When I run it as admin, even though I am the admin, it gives me the same error.

Oh right, i forgot it still needs to be activated for the new OS. In Vista atleast, there is an option on the right click menu "Run as Admin" try that. If that doesn't work try to run it in compatibility mode.

Still doesn't work, I've even tried both combined.

I checked my Impulse install, and there seems to be a "Detect Application" function behind the logo button. Maybe try instaling Impulse, and try with that one?

I gave up and installed it again in a different folder. Thank you for your help though.
