I never hear anything bad about this game

I just wanted to say how surprised I am that I never hear anything bad about this game.I have had many of the strategy games that we have all had and found out that they were still in the prototype stage and still sold to the public and then they come out with a couple of half-assed patches to appease everyone, but the technically saavy always calls them on it and it turns out that the patch still didn't address major issues .....and the dance continues. You can search all over the internet for reviews on all the other games and they just get decimated. I won't even play many of the games I have anymore because I was just crushed by the review and didn't want to waste my time on the games. Not so with SINS. I wish the people that work on the "Sins of a Solar Empire" games would also work on games like "Geo-Political Simulator/Commander in Chief" and "Empire Total War" (the list goes on) Promising games with a lack of 'that certain something'. I would just like to say kudos to the SINS CREW for, not only creating the seemingly (most) perfect game on the block...................but supporting it by recognizing that we are their returning customers and not like many of the rest of the game designers out there who appear to be weekend warriors and avoid us like we are lepers. I say Thank You to the SINS CREW for having and supporting THE BEST STRATEGY GAME TO DATE. (2009)

I would like to say that while I don't have Empire: Total War, every Total War game that I have played was extremely good, and I hear the main problem now is bugs that they didn't catch and are now attempting to patch.

Read just about any of my posts, or a lot of recent posts in the strategy section. A lot of poeple aren't as happy as you are. This game is like 95% of the way there, and in truth I love the job stardock and ironclad did. That last 5% is little issues with occassional bugs, minidumps, disconnects, and imbalances in the game. Yes, all four exist.

I've never had a game before sins that had bugs/minidumps. I've seen rare disocnnects. Kinda unavoidable in just about any game you find. I've seen imbalances before, but this game has glaring imbalances that aren't gamebreaking, but make the game rather one dimensional.

Hence my force SINS vacation. When ever I play it when it gets to the 1 dimention you speak ofve i just want to quit. So I stoped for that.

Well, you make a good product and it gets praise from one and all. Ironclad has made a very good product, so it gets the praise it deserves.

Reviews in general ... well it is wise to pay attention to mention of bugs, technical issues, gameplay flaws and omissions. But I would not cease to play a game simply because professional reviewers don't give it a high score.

It has to be said that Ironclad have been reasonably fortunate not to get picked up on this by the press, I think any sequel will have to face closer scrutiny.
