favorite sci fi series

Whats your favorit sci fi series?

My current Favorit is the reimaged BSG.  Prior to that it was Star Trek TNG.

Stargate SG-1, all the way/ While Atlantis was good, it wasn't up to the pre season 7ish episodes. While I liked Ben Browder, I think they were kind of running out of ideas near the end of the show. Can't wait till Stargate Universe comes out, hope its good.

Personally speaking I liked Babylon 5 the most. However, I also liked Star Trek NG, Enterprise, and Eureka, Warehouse 13 is interesting, only time will tell how that one is though.

of all the mentioned series, Warehouse 13 is the only one I haven't seen. I'm running out of series Plus, I liked almost everyone of it, the only exception being BSG which I stopped watching after 5 episodes because I couldn't stand it.

My personal list would be

Firefly

Farscape

Star Gate (I might even come to the conclusion that I liked Atlantis more than SG1 (SG:A has Jewel Staites, while SG1 has Morena Baccarin and Lexa Doig...tough decision^^)) Can't wait for SG:Universe to be released

B5 was pretty good, found I like it better then the earlier seasons of DS9.

B5 hands down. the epic story, the build up, the character chemistry and a bunch of cool space fights.

but new bsg and ds9 are also pretty good, along with TNG and outer limits. stargate is nice, but - I hate to say it - sometimes a bit more of a mindless 'sit back and enjoy' experience than true greatness.

I agree with Raging Amish, Tremors: The Series. Loads of fun that was cut short  

 

General Homsar, I just looked and apparantly they haven't but there was a plan to release them on July 22, 2008. In May of that year it was canceled or put on hold (please ignore the screams of frustration and anger)

To be honest, Star Trek (any -voyager / and first 3 seasons of ds9 (o did I mention Star Trek: Enterprise?)) and X-files

Earth: Final Conflict

Deeply under-appreciated series, probably because it shared the bad acting and bad dialog problems B5 had but didn't have enough heavy makeup and CGI in comparison, which meant not enough drooling fools to make an impressive audience share.

Don't get me wrong about B5. I'd have followed the show completely if the producers hadn't managed to create a perfect train wreck of awesome plot arcs and average actors struggling with below-average dialog.

Wasn't Tribune involved also in Andromeda?

Paramount owns distribution rights for a new Star Trek and if they decide to greenlit somethin', they'll certainly find another computer voice-over and it won't be impersonated by a Betazoid actress. RIP, Majel.

Cuz, that specific Sci-Fi show is ALREADY beyond names.
