Sins Forums
Never seen the forums this slow before, it's taking in excess of 20 seconds to load a forum
Additionally none of the normal threads are showing in the mod or technical area either, just the sticky threads, heh.

the only way I could see this is that I have gone to see more recent posts
I'm going to guess it has something to do with the updates to make the forums more like the Elemental ones.
I've had this issue for about a month now. I'm glad it's not me.

Yea I've had slow downs frequently when visiting, but never as bad as today
I've also not experienced the posts being missing entirely.
There was a time when a page loading in 20 seconds was a miracle... just give them some time, probably not even on their end. Likely another server in-between that is getting hammered.
FYI: other than skins, these forums are the elemental forums.
Literally! All SD forums share a common database, it's just that different websites 'link in' at different points in the heirarchy and thus show different things.

They're not making the Sins forums like the Elemental ones, they're going to have people invlolved in the dimplomacy expansion like they are on Elemental. But he did specifically say they are making changes to the Sins site.
