How recent is recently? If it's been a matter of hours, I'd give it a day. Alternatively (or in addition), check your download speed on something else to see if it's the Impulse servers or if the problem is on your end. Either way, you're probably going to want to wait a while.
Out of curiosity:impulse doesnt have refunds...does it?
I think it does, but you'd have to talk to someone to get one. I think support@stardock.com would work.
