What does it mean by "the first chapter"? 
Huh.
Guess that answers that 'is there going to be a sins 2' debate.
What? Nobody reads the Google page title? 
It might mean that it's the first before the expansions, since they do have some lore involved, but I think a sequel is a more likely answer... especially due to the success of this one. 
I'd also prefer this game to be developed further than to rush into a sequel.
