This game is simply amazing, and one of the few that's worth my money.

I normally pirate games, like a lot of people do.  However, I only do it as an extended trial, and if the game is worth my money after I've tried it out, I always buy it to support the developers.  SINS is no exception, and this game has completely blown my mind with the sheer amount of work and love put into this game by the developers.  These guys aren't big AAA-title companies like EA or Ubisoft, but damn it, they still did a very fine job.  I downloaded this last night, and I bought the bundle pack this morning to get the expansion pack.  Thank you very much for creating such a fine game, and I will DEFINITELY buy all of your future products based on the quality of Sins of a Solar Empire.  For as long as you make games, you've definitely got at least one customer here.

I love space strategy games. Used to love the homeworld series. then got this but turned out it was no where near.

Although its still a damn awesome game how it is and I love it.

I can't believe so many new games cant be anything like this. And i think not enough people like space Fleet games enough. Whats with all the First person shooter games spam?

Seriously.... what i think is when people think rts, they can only name starcraft. The people who play starcraft are blind and dont realize that there are much better rts games out there.(lots of people play= good game? I don't think so) Also lots of games seems to like copying each others games to try to sell, and make them popular.

Sins of a solar empire i think went into a completly new gameplay, Or atleast this is something new to me. This is what i think many of the new games dont do.

Most new games seems to have the greater graphics, with better looking beautiful effects, but lack fun and gameplay. Sins wasnt like these.

I look forward to the new patches.  (man i have to buy entrenchment....)

wowzers...i hope you didn't give your real name, Joey Lawson, telling everybody that you pirate games...cuz the truth is, most people actually don't

I don't think there are too many statistics to say either way what % of people pirate games(Stardock's CEO, however, stated that at the Demigod launch there were around 120,000 Demigod users with only 18,000 of those legitimate customers, so take it as you will). But the fact is very little can be done here even if that is his real name. Could Stardock ban him from the forums and never let him purchase any of thier products...probably, but that'd simply be taking money out of thier pockets, and they didnt need his name to do it.

Actually I have to disagree with you on this point, I used to do it too, but once I figured out you could mod and that there was a star trek mod, also, the game is just much more different than any stragety games I have played (starcraft, and AoE eg) and that it require the latest version I personally decided to buy it myself also.

The problem of demigod, i believe it did not need a cd key for multiplayer.

While for Sins of a solar empire you can pirate it and play all you want. But you have to actually buy it to play on ICO. which i think all the newer games should start doing.

PC games should focus on the multiplayer, so it will make them buy the game.

Now if they would only fix the balance without us doing it.

I don't think people should rule how to balance, they did it for RA3 to satisfy some players, now other more experieence players are complainting that it is too nerfed to be played at all

Seriously, I love this game too. |-) As far as I'm concerned, Ironclad and Stardock kick EA and Ubisoft's asses.
