One of those popular solar system replicas, except this time including other solar systems. Meant to imitate mankind's first advanced steps into space, complete with the dangers of a nearby alien civilisation. To play it, you will need to download both these zip files - remember to look at the README on each mod.

The patch files should be used to make the mod compatible with entrenchment v. 1.03. The Galaxy Forge patch should be used the same way.

Have fun!

The rest is for you to explore. Remember the theme of endeavour.

Close-up views of the Earth and Mars planetary systems and the artificial wormholes connecting them. You will of course need the appropriate technology to use these gates.

Nice map! And now I list everything wrong with this... although I'm not sure if it's all map problems... could it be stuff on my end?

Player 2 starts out with 3 planets (4 frigate factories, 8 scouts...) that are not upgraded and are at 10% allegiance (so Player 2 starts the game with a -6 credit income.

On the other hand, player 1 starts out with 150% aleegiance...

Planet placement issues:

sometimes phase routes to moons end up going backwards/straight up and down/level and jumping inside further...

List: Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, the gas giant in 47 Ursae Majoris, the gas giant in Gliese 876, other gas giants I may have missed...

I'm not entirely sure if Pluto and Charon are connected... I didn't see phase lanes, although it could be a graphical glitch.

That's all I've found at the moment... I'm not sure if I could edit this or not (never tried modding anything...)

Only the player 2 startoff problem is real - all others are not gameplay problems. I will be looking into the allegiance and income concerns now and will produce a balanced second version. The backwards/upwards phase lanes are coincidental with the proximity of moons to their parent planets and will function normally. You may notice bugs with Pluto and Charon that render them and their phase lanes partially invisible; I have no idea why this is happening and do not know how to solve it. In the Distant Stars mod, homeworlds start with increased allegiance at 150% up to a maximum of 200% in the presence of friendly culture.

Version 1.01 fixes the startoff issue for player 2, stabilizing income in the Catacoal planetary system and estabilishing Catacoal itself as the capital.

Please do visit our board at http://multiverseroleplaying.freeforums.org/. We keep up on loads of stuff, like Galaxy Forge maps and SoaSE mods, but are mainly a written role-playing site.
