making a mod with sketchup models.

hello i have a question i want to make a small mod were there will by a halo ring in game but i really don't now how you get the sketchup models in the game and let it work? 
i also do not now how you texture models? so if you now the instructions then please post them step by step.
i am only using sketchup because it's easier making a model so please HELP ME!
