Unable to Save in Singleplayer

I just bought entrenchment today, everything is updated and seems to be working well except for the fact that I can't save any singleplayer games. Auto-save seems to work but I can not manually save the game.

I am running vista, I don't know what else to include besides that and it seems that there are a lot of problems with vista on the forums so I figure that may be the culprit, despite that UAC has been disabled.

Any help would be greatly appriciated, I strongly dislike playing without saving my game at EXACTLY where I want it saved, and auto-save sure doesn't help me that much.

Still no answer. Am very frustrated by this, I got a referral to google which was no help at all, google is my first stop for whenever I have problems, I checked it and found nothing. I would really appriciate a simple answer and a way to fix it.

If the save button is greyed out, it's because you need to enter a name for the savegame in the box. If that's not the exact issue, then you'll have to be more specific.
