Lead Engineer: "Okay, scouts brought back this image of a massive Vasari 'starbase'. We've been tasked to design something to blow it up"
Engineer #1: "Looks kinda big... why don't we just build a giant torpedo tube and shoot nukes at it till it goes away"
Engineer #2: "Well, if we're using nukes, we may as well start with the old Krosov design as a base"
Engineer #3: "The Krosovs? We could probably go down to the scrapyard and salvage some right now. Once the admiral realized they were worthless he had them all surplused"
Engineer #1: "Awesome ideas, but this thing looks more dangerous than unarmed civilians. We'll probably have to actually put armour on them this time"
Lead Engineer: "That was kinda the problem last time, wasn't it?"
Engineer #1: "Yeah, so we'll actually install armour this time, maybe give them proper torpedoes so they can fire from a safe distance, and then go out for lunch,"
Engineer #3: "I think you guys are forgetting something"
Engineer #2: "What could we possibly be forgetting? Big torpedo tube, lots of nukes, and this time we'll actually armour it so it doesn't explode when sneezed at,"
Engineer #1: "We forgot to name it!"
Lead Engineer: "Well, we're using the Krosov as a base, so if my expertise in nomenclatology is worth anything (and it isn't) this new vessel will be called the Ogrov. Now, lets head out for lunch"
And so the Ogrov was born. Happy?
