Last Update For Entrenchment (9/30/2009)

Reversal of saved games with "invalid save file"

Yesterday afternoon, I updated Sins Of A Solar Empire and Sins Of A Solar Empire Entrenchment using the Impulse system. Previously, the saved games from the regular SOASE were listed as "invalid save file" on Entrenchment, but after the update they are no longer invalid. However, now the saved games from the Entrenchment micro are listed as "invalid save file" on SOASE Entrechment. I hope the next update may correct this.

Ah, well that would be something that could be fixed then. The regular SOASE saved games are no longer invalid after the last update, and that would be on Entrenchment where they are no longer invalid. So, if the saved games for the regular SOASE can be made valid for the Entrenchment SOASE, then so can the saved games for Entrenchement on Entrenchment.

I wasn't finished with my last game when I did the update... I suppose I should have updated it after the game is done.

Tried playing one of the regular SOASE saved games on Entrenchment. Though it no longer says "invalid save file" like it used to, it wouldn't load either and the popup saying "checksum" occured. Oh well.

I notice in the updated version that the indigenous populations now have stronger fleets and resource asteroids seem to be taken away from being built upon or used as soon as a planet is colonized.
