I tried to convert bin to txt and got an errro saying the program could not be run. I have XP64 but have run the program before.
Ya, if you use the convetdata for some files it won't work, I am using harpoo's textgui converter too.
Guess that we have to wait till they release the package
I just updated Sins and Entrenchment and it used to work but the new convert data program will not run now. Is there something special I need to do?
I found that you NEED three files in either the folder with the latest convertdata's or in the windows\system32 folder
the files are Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest, msvcr80.dll and msvcp80.dll.
two of the three are included in the sins folder, but the msvcp80.dll is not, but I have heard that it might be included in a hotfix

I downloaded msvcp80.dll off the internet and it didn't work, whether either or all three files were in the Sins folder or in windows/system.
So slightly impossible to convert vanilla 1.04 files to text and compare differences and make adjustments. Rather than waste time trying to figure out the solution for Stardock, I'll let them tell me (or release the text versions for download).
jasonfj I have upload my txted sins 1.18 & entrenchment 1.04, BUT I have not tested the download from filefront, but when I created the rar's I used solid archive, recovery record and test, so hopefully they will extract for you
