Okay, so I know that it is EXTREMELY early to even talk about this, but there are some things I am just going bonkers trying to answer.
1. Will the modding CAPABILITIES (like 'CreateSpaceMine', CreateStarBase', the new modding stuff in the latest patch, the fighter movement, squad abilities, 5 abilities/unit type) be usable in Diplomacy?
2. In vanilla Sins there's a max of 2 squad types per unit; Entrenchment expanded this max to 4; will Diplomacy expand it to the max, with up to 5 types? This is something I would really like to see.
3. What kind of new possibilities for modding will be present in Diplomacy (besides the obvious new Diplomatic stuff)?
