Windows 7?

I'm planning on getting Windows 7 when it makes it's official launch in a few days, will I still be able to play Sins with it?

By the was, would Sins run faster with windows 7 than Vista or is it the contrary ? I have downloaded it freely (and legally) but i am not sure if i am going to install it if it uses more ressources (even if vista is a pain in the ass).

I think it uses about the same (maybe a little less) than Vista.  However, in my experience it seems that 7 will "get out of the way" and use less RAM if you have a large game running for a while.

assuming you have enough RAM 2GB(prefer 4GB) the actual speed of the game is almost identical between different windows versions although vista does have a lot more background services running so is the slowest win7 has fewer background services running so is a bit quicker, and xp has the least background services so is the fastest, but it is about 5 perscent speed difference between them

I'm running on Windows 7 RC (Build 7100), and it runs great, at least until the late game, but that's my PC more than anything.

My Dad has been using it for about a month and says it runs increadably fast since it doesn't need 90 percent of the crap Vista does to run. It actually increased his average battery life by 2 hours

Interesting... I think I might get it as well... I've been thinking about it and I might just be conviced to do so myself... though the limitations on the 32 bit is my concern I might just go and install the 64 bit version. I have xp pro at the moment on 32 bit and I have 6 gigs of ram on my pc and it only reconizes 3.25 gigs ehhhh... yeah... you can see why I'm a bit squirmish about it
